R.K.S Glass by Magan Stevens and John Choi

Magan Stevens
Magan is co-founder of R.K.S. Glass Studios and received her training and B.F.A. at the Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia. She has received numerous awards including scholarships to both Pilchuck Glass School, Washington, and the Studio at Corning Museum of Glass in New York. Magan was awarded the “Outstanding Emerging Glass Artist” prize from The Hilbert Sosin Fund, Florida Art Alliance in 2001 and a Fellowship to the Creative Glass Center of America, in Millville, New Jersey in 2000.

John Choi
John is currently Production Glass Assistant and Studio Technician at RKS Glass Studios. In the past, he worked at RPM Studio in Pottstown, and he operated his own studio, Hot Monkey Glass, in Media, Pennsylvania. John has worked with David Leppla and Melanie Guerney as a Production Glass Assistant in Cedarville, New Jersey, and taught as a Glassblowing Instructor at Hot Soup Glass Studio in Philadelphia.
