Johnathan Roy Newton studied at the Ontario College of Art and design and received his fine Arts Diploma. Oil painting has been a passion for Johnathan most of his life, and Paul Pell, Sargent, and Bouguereau have had a great influence on his creativity. His lifelong achievement is to strive for ideal beauty through his paintings.  

Jonathan Newton is now clearly establishing himself as one of the leading realist painters of his generation & has a growing following throughout Canada and the United States.
