John is an artist, designer, and educator who has worked with glass& for more than 27 years. He received his BA in Environmental Design and MA in Glass from California State University, Fullerton, and his M.F.A. in Sculpture from the California College of Arts and Crafts, in Oakland.

John has been Head of the Glass Program at San Francisco State University for 22 years. He has been a guest instructor at numerous schools including C.C.A.C. in Oakland, the Pilchuck School in Stanwood, Washington, and the Tokyo Glass Art Institute in Japan.
