Csaba Markus was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1953. Growing up in a city over 2000 years rich in history and abundant in artistic influences, Csaba became infatuated with the arts at a very young age. From the reconstructed baroque architecture to the carefully excavated castles and palaces, his childhood in Hungary laid the foundation for what is now a source of inspiration for the artist.
