Born in Havana, Cuba in 1970, Antonio Dojer came to the United States in 1991 via Spain. He studied at the San Alejandro School of Art.

Dojer is overjoyed that he can finally use the strong lines, vibrant colors, and abstract art that he loves instead of party line regimented art. Able, at long last, to paint what he wants, Dojer spends almost all of his time in a flood of creativity, sparing only a few hours to listen to Afro-Cuban music and to dance.
