“Molten glass responds to every bodily movement of the artist
and maker. My work is directly related to the physical and mental
challenges of creating objects from a living material. I look to
tame the material, illustrated by creating hard-edged forms, while
allowing its intrinsic qualities to accent these forms - a gesture of
movement through color at the edge. The objects I am currently
exploring challenge the notion of function while still leaving the
question open to interpretation."
